چکیده

The boundaries of tracking and sensing solutions are continuously being pushed. A stimulation in this field over recent years is exploiting the properties millimeter wave (mmWave) radar to achieve simultaneous multiple objects. This paper aims provide a critical analysis current literature surrounding multi-object with short-range mmWave radar. There significant available regarding single-object using radar, demonstrating maturity systems. However, innovative research advancements also needed tracking, specifically respect uniquely identifying target tracks across an interrupted view. In article, we aim overview latest progress multi-target tracking. particular, attempt phrase problem space made by firstly defining typical architecture. We then highlight areas for potential advancements. These include sensor fusion, micro-Doppler feature analysis, specialized generalized activity recognition, gait, tagging shape profile. Potential reviewed compared adaptability, performance, accuracy specificity. Although majority has focus on human targets, most methodologies can be applied targets consisting different profiles characteristics that humans. Lastly, future directions discussed shed light opportunities approaches open areas.

Radar Detection Improvement by Integration of Multi-Object Tracking

This paper presents a new and simple approach to the problem of multiple sensor data fusion. We introduce an efficient algorithm that can fuse multiple sensor measurements to track an arbitrary number of objects in a cluttered environment. The algorithm combines conventional Kalman filtering techniques with probabilistic data association methods. A Gauss Markov process model is assumed to handl...

Multi-camera Multi-Object Tracking

In this paper, we propose a pipeline for multi-target visual tracking under multi-camera system. For multi-camera system tracking problem, efficient data association across cameras, and at the same time, across frames becomes more important than single-camera system tracking. However, most of the multi-camera tracking algorithms emphasis on single camera across frame data association. Thus in o...

Multiple Target Tracking With a 2-D Radar Using the JPDAF Algorithm and Combined Motion Model

Multiple target tracking (MTT) is taken into account as one of the most important topics in tracking targets with radars. In this paper, the MTT problem is used for estimating the position of multiple targets when a 2-D radar is employed to gather measurements. To do so, the Joint Probabilistic Data Association Filter (JPDAF) approach is applied to tracking the position of multiple targets. To ...

Radar Pulse Interleaving for Multi-target Tracking

In a multifunction radar, the maximum number of targets which can be managed or tracked is an important performance measure. Interleaving algorithms developed to operate radars exploit the dead-times between the transmitted and the received pulses to allocate new tracking tasks that might involve transmitting or receiving pulses, thus increasing the capacity of the system. The problem of interl...

MOT16: A Benchmark for Multi-Object Tracking

Standardized benchmarks are crucial for the majority of computer vision applications. Although leaderboards and ranking tables should not be over-claimed, benchmarks often provide the most objective measure of performance and are therefore important guides for reseach. Recently, a new benchmark for Multiple Object Tracking, MOTChallenge, was launched with the goal of collecting existing and new...
